Quality Assurance

Become a driver of continuous improvement.

Quality assurance is systems-based approach to ensure ‘fit for purpose’ quality. This approach means that everything an organisation does is laid out in policies and procedures, so if something goes wrong, no individual person is to blame; it’s the system that needs improving. Organisations which operate using a quality assurance approach continuously strive to improve their performance, minimise risk and make customer satisfaction a top priority.

This nine-week, online short course uses the ISO9001 framework. It’s ideally suited to anyone wanting to get into the quality assurance space, particularly in manufacturing, laboratory testing and food production. It’s also the perfect ‘validation’ for individuals who want to gain formal recognition for quality assurance skills they’ve acquired on the job.

The course comprises the following modules:

  • Defining the Quality Management System
  • International quality standards
  • Monitoring performance for quality improvement
  • Leadership for quality

"The tutor used a lot of real life and real work examples to demonstrate how quality works." - Maggie Liu, graduate
